I’m sick of all of the people who make fun of my healthy lifestyle and eating choices. As many vegans/vegetarians will know, people can be very critical when it comes to diet choices, often feeling threatened and criticising every aspect. If its not “Ew your food is gross” or “What do you eat? GRASS”
First of all, it is my choice what I choose to eat. And no, with meals like this everyday I don’t “crave a cheeseburger”, nor am I ‘starving’ or ‘depriving’ myself. I simply choose to nourish my body with delicious whole foods, and you know what? It’s great! My skin is glowing, I’m alive and full of energy and I feel absolutely wonderful!
So go ahead- picking faults with my eating habits, calling me ‘obsessive’ and snickering while I enjoy my salad. But don’t think for a moment that you can bring me down with your negative, judgemental comments.

My Rules to Eating Right
- Enjoy everything you eat - don’t like it? Don’t eat it.
- Never stop eating things you really enjoy because they’re bad - moderation/treats!
- Accept it’s hard to change habits overnight.
- Treat yourself! You deserve it.
- Find fruit and veg you like and stick to those.
- Make yummy smoothies if you find it had to eat enough fruit/veg.
- Eat lots of lean protein! Great for dinners.
- Keep busy so you think about eating less, just enjoy it.
Agree with everything but #2. There are certain foods I have that I just can’t allow myself to eat (at least at this point) or I know I’ll binge on them! :O

My “grass grazers” vegetarian entree at the murder mystery last night: garden zucchini enchiladas, corn pudding and potato wedges. It was delicious, but goodness, people sure think vegetarians like dairy! I scraped all of the cheese off my enchilada and I still had terrible stomach cramps that night. Definitely worth it though.
